The Natural Fibre Company

The Natural Fibre Company is a specialist UK-based spinning mill which can help you create a new business. 
Originally established in Wales around 1985, we are now based in Cornwall and work with customers all across the UK and Europe.
Experienced with all types of fibre, we understand the most appropriate options for the wide diversity of fibres grown on British sheep breeds, angora goats and huacaya and suri alpacas.

We are also unique in being able to spin either to the woollen or worsted styles of yarn, providing extra options where needed.
Diversify into wool, mohair or alpaca fibre products with our help.
We can sort, scour and card fleeces for use in felting or for hand spinning. 
Or we can process all the way to a finished yarn finished and packaged suitable for hand-knitting or crochet. 
We also make yarns for weaving or machine knitting and work with weavers and machine knitting businesses or crafts people able to complete the processes into finished products for you.  
Our minimum orders start at 10kg for scour/card or 20kg for making yarns. 
We are also fully accredited for organic processing if needed. 
We are happy to advise, review samples, show you around our mill and help with marketing ideas. 
Our friendly, expert staff are available in office hours to guide and support you through the journey to the right outcome.
